North is one of Australia’s most admired professional photographers. He is responsible for some of the nation’s most endearing advertising campaigns. High amongst them is the original Qantas Children’s Choir campaign photographed in New York, Venice, Patagonia and on The Great Wall of China. North has a passion for photographing people that is undiminished. Over his 30 year career he has captured everyone from royalty to the 'everyman' he meets in the street. His 2004 exhibition 'Local Heroes' celebrated the known and lesser known champions of his local Balmain community. North's credits run to being a finalist two years running in the AGNSW Australian Photographic Portrait Prize and as a runner-up in SMH’s Shoot the Chef.
